**Please note, the Hell Hawks presentation has been postponed until 2010** Co-authors Tom Jones, a ’77 Distinguished Grad, B-52D pilot and veteran NASA astronaut and Robert Dorr, an American diplomat and aviation writer, will be discussing their book “Hell Hawks”. Hell Hawks! is the untold story of an aerial band of brothers who were part of a crucial Allied effort to bring airpower to bear on the front-line German armies. The authors follow the 365th Fighter Group, the Hell Hawks, from England-based interdiction missions supporting the D-Day invasion, across the Channel to their close-air-support base in a Norman apple orchard, to tank-busting sorties in the flak-filled skies over the Bulge, and finally to Germany for the final defeat of Hitler's Reich.
